Hi, thank you for reaching out and requesting feedback. Overall, I enjoyed my experience with the first shipment. It was easy and surprisingly quick.
Both my selections were roasters’s choice, this is because I like to try new flavors, and push myself outside my comfort zone with coffee and specifically espresso. With that being said, I didn’t love your Nicaragua origin, coffee. I was left wondering if this is because I brewed it incorrectly or if it’s just a the flavour of the coffee that I didn’t like, after all, I did get notes of grapefruit, which is what was noted on the bag. I think it would be helpful if you were to provide recipes for common brew methods, such as espresso and pour over perhaps this could be included as a card along with the bags or even written directly on the label on the bag. For example, the card could say “ Our expert roasters at Hale coffee recommend brewing this roast as a 1:2.5 in 40 seconds espresso. Recommended brew temperature between 93 to 95 C.

When you sign up, you get to choose delivery increments.
Then before the next batch is shipped they text you to confirm.
You can postpone a delivery right from SMS or go to your account and tap “skip”.
For me, it solved the biggest headaches for subscriptions—unintended overstocking.
Don’t have to worry about ordering too much since their system allows you to adjust on the fly AND the SMS before an order solves the biggest pain point for me.
Timing and communication is quick and management of subscription is very easy. The coffee itself is also wonderful tasting and always packed well!
The last order got sent back to sorting facilities one time and is out of delivery multiple days.
